A Leader in Providing Complete Pipeline Solutions

Our goal; Ensure a safe environment through accurate measurement and evaluation.

ELECTROMAGNETIC ACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER (EMAT)

Our EMAT Inspection Tool is fully developed in-house and expands our ILI capabilities for crack and crack-like detection without liquid couplant. EMAT augments the UTCD inspection methods in pipelines and will add value to the integrity assessment of your gas pipelines.

Ultrasonic

Petrotech's ultrasonic metal loss inspection tools work based on the direct measurement principle. UT ensures quantitative wall thickness measurements, superior detection, and sizing of metal loss anomalies, laminations, and inclusions.

Calipers

Petrotech provides geometry inspection services based on caliper technology for pipeline sizes from 3’’ to 56’’ a large fleet of Caliper inspection tools is available to support our clients where they need it and when they need it.

MFL-C

Longitudinal weld anomalies and narrow axial internal and external corrosion pose a serious integrity threat to pipeline systems. Petrotech's MFL-C tools apply the MFL technology in transverse (circumferential) direction to detect and size such anomalies.

MFL-A

Detection of longitudinal weld aberrations and corrosion using MFL technology. Petrotech uses MFL tools to diagnose and measure these types of anomalies.

CLEANING

Quality pre-inspection cleaning and gauging are paramount for a successful ILI tool run. Petrotech offers pre-inspection cleaning and gauging services.

SOFTWARE

Petrotech software, with its built-in integration capabilities, achieves this objective and results in a more effective and efficient pipeline network integrity tool management. Using Petrotech software, you can quickly and accurately integrate into your existing database by using various standards for assessments and you can extend your network life cycle efficiently.

Unpiggable

The term ‘unpiggable,’ while having no universally accepted definition, best describes pipelines that are difficult to inspect internally with conventional in-line tools such as smart pigs. There are a number of ways in which a pipeline is characterised as difficult to inspect. These are described below.
Real-time data

Real-time data

Presents the integrity deterioration now and at any time in the future

Improved decisions

Improved decisions

Provides intelligent dashboards for improved decision making

Repair optimization

Gives options for better optimization of rehabilitation, maintenance, and repairs

PIGGING FEASIBILITY AND OPTIMIZATION

Planned integrity programs for pipelines generally require regular cleaning pigging and in-line inspections. While many pipelines are pigged regularly, others have never been pigged or may only have been pigged once under very different operating conditions to the present day.

DATA ANALYSIS

CUSTOMIZED IN-LINE INSPECTION SERVICES
Petrotech uses its own powerful data analysis software to analyze the inspection data and prepare comprehensive reports for our clients.

THE INSTRUMENT FOR ACCURATE PIGGING

LOCALIZE & TRACK INSPECTION & CLEANING TOOLS
To localize and track inspection or cleaning tools during their run, they are usually either equipped with an ITX Transmitter or with strong magnets.

TESTING FOR INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT

THE KEY STEPS TO UNDERSTANDING YOUR STRESS CORROSION
Managing the integrity of a pipeline is a challenging task, particularly when your pipeline is susceptible to cracking.

Why Pigging

Pipeline pigging is essential to assure safe and continuous operation at highest possible throughput, resulting in better performance of your pipeline system.

Pipeline Cleaning Services

A vital aspect of the integrity management of pipeline networks, cleaning is necessary at every stage throughout the lifecycle of any pipeline.

Pipeline Cleaning Solutions

Cleaning is a vital aspect of the integrity management of pipelines and pipeline networks and is necessary at every stage throughout their lifecycle.

Cleaning

The Ultimate Clean™ series of tools provides the highest degree of flexibility for virtually all pipeline cleaning applications including general and heavy-duty cleaning, ferrous debris removal as well as gauging and batching tasks.

Pig Detector

To localize and track inspection or cleaning tools during their run, they are usually either equipped with an ITX Transmitter or with strong magnets.

Marker Magnets

In order to detect pipeline damage or weakness, pipes are regularly examined with inspection tools. As it travels through the pipeline, the inspection tool detects the present state of defects and potential hazardous areas. The results are recorded in an internal memory unit.

Tracking System

For the highly reliable detection of inspection or cleaning tools in steel pipelines. Helping to improve inspection accuracy and allowing for tool tracking even in hazardous environment.

Pipeline Data Logger

Mounted on any in-line inspection or cleaning tool, the PDL can measure and record temperature profiles, detect and locate restrictions and deposits, monitor tool behavior, assess cleaning progress and effectiveness, and verify operational pipeline conditions – all while the run is performed.

Fitness For Service Assessment

Inspection is an essential component of the Integrity Management Process, but understanding the implications of inspection results and how they should inform repair and mitigation planning is key for effective Integrity Management.

Corrosion Growth Assessment

Corrosion is the most common time-dependent threat for pipelines. Pipeline operators worldwide spend billions of dollars mitigating the effects of corrosion.

Asset Integrity Assessment

Inspection is a critical component of any Asset Integrity Management process. Inspection, however, is often expensive and disruptive. It is therefore important to maximize the value derived from the data, not only to help ensure ongoing operational integrity but also to optimize subsequent intervention or ongoing inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) activities.

Asset Care Services

At PETROTECH we comprehend that asset care is much more than a simple inspection. We know it is a comprehensive understanding of an asset's current and predicted condition. We realize that to ensure sustainable, safe, efficient, and reliable operation, action is required.

Pipeline Corrosion Management

From the moment line pipe is manufactured, it is subject to flaws and suffers deterioration. Corrosion is a particularly significant threat, which, if not detected, monitored and mitigated, creates irreparable damage. Corrosion can be introduced in many ways and at any point in a pipeline’s lifecycle, creating a constant need for detection and monitoring.

Pipeline Deformation Management

The safety and long-term performance of a pipeline can be compromised significantly by geometrical damage such as dents, wrinkles, bulges, ovalization and roof topping. Manufacturing, construction, or external factors during operation such as accidental third-party damage or external loading (e.g. landslides) cause geometric damage.

Pipeline Crack Detection and Assessment

Cracks threaten pipeline integrity. But pipeline cracks are not all the same. A variety of crack types such as fatigue cracks and environmental cracking as well as crack locations – including in the pipe body and in the complex geometry of girth welds and seam welds – all pose risks to a pipeline’s efficiency and safety.
